Privacy Policy
1. What we collect
When you use the Website or create an account
- Your name, email address and a password. The password is stored only as a salted one-way hash, never in readable form.
- Your orders: reference, number of computers, amount, date, and the payment identifiers that Razorpay gives us.
- Your registration key and the computers you activate (see below).
- Technical data your browser sends: IP address, browser type and the pages you request. We use it to run and secure the Website, for example to limit repeated sign-in attempts.
- Messages you send us by email, and our replies.
When you pay
Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure window and are never seen or stored by us. We receive only the confirmation, the amount and a payment reference. Razorpay's own privacy policy applies to the data it handles.
When you activate Premium in the App
The App sends our server your registration key, a technical identifier of your computer, the computer's name, and the App version. We store the identifier only as a one-way hash, so we cannot read the original. We use this to count the computers on your licence, to let you move a licence, and to prevent misuse. The App may contact us from time to time to confirm that your licence is still valid.
What stays on your computer
Your slots, sessions, layouts, recordings, replay takes, titles and settings are stored on your own computer. Stream keys are stored encrypted using Windows. Video, audio, camera, microphone and screen content you capture is processed locally and is not uploaded to us. If you stream, your video goes to the destinations you set up, under those services' own terms and privacy policies.
What the App does on its own
- The App has no analytics and no tracking, and does not collect crash reports automatically.
- The first time you start it after installing, it opens our thank-you page in your browser once. Opening the page is a normal web visit, described under the Website above.
- When you first need recording, streaming or export, the App asks your permission and then downloads FFmpeg once from its public release page on GitHub. GitHub receives your IP address as in any download.
- The intercom and tally features run on your local network and send data only between your computer and the devices you connect.

4. Cookies
When you sign in we set one cookie, zc_session. It keeps you signed in, it is needed for the account to work, and it is deleted when you sign out or after 30 days. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Razorpay's payment window may set its own cookies while you pay.
5. How long we keep it

To use these rights email privacy@zcut.in. If you ask us to erase your account while you hold a licence, your Premium licence will end. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Security
